Meli the Murmeli (Switzerland)

 

Hi, I am Meli the Marmot. I am a dairyman and I am wearing a traditional outfit from the region of Appenzell in Switzerland. I wear knee-long trousers painted in yellow, an embroidered red vest, a white fabric shirt whose collar is decorated with an intricate brooch, knee-long white socks, traditional leather shoes and a black hat which is adorned with Alpine flowers and ribbons. I have a distinctive ladle earring on one of my ears, and a stud earring on the other.

 

I have a special QR code. If you scan it with your phone, it will reveal me as a cartoon character and you will learn fun facts about me and my country. Fun and educational.

 

Sustainability is important to me. I am made from 100% recycled polyester. We give old plastic bottles a new life.
